Pursuant to the provisions of Decree 57 of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic as of March 14, 2020, On Introducing a High Alert Regime, the DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs has worked out a range of measures for arranging activities of internal affairs bodies. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nikolay Kryuchenko reported to the DPR Head on the situation amid the high alert regime.
“We have been checking persons undergoing a self-isolation period, as well as trade outlets for offenses in terms of compliance with the measures taken in the Republic to counteract the coronavirus infection. Following the checks, 41 administrative offence reports have been drawn up, providing for penalties,” Kryuchenko noted.
He also added that such actions are carried out in exceptional cases as a last-choice and necessary measure towards non-compliant citizens and officials who by their actions create a threat of the dangerous virus infection spreading.
