As of April 8, 8:00 a.m. Moscow time, the total number of infected persons amounts to 1,429,939 worldwide (the daily increase made 82,417 cases, that is 6.1%). 1,346,782 cases have been registered in 179 countries of the world other than China (the daily increase made 82,331 cases, that is 6.5%), Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (referred to as ‘Rospotrebnadzor’) informs.
According to the daily report of the National Health Commission of China, as of April 8, 8:00 a.m., 83,157 cases of the infection have been registered in China. The daily increase made 86 cases, that is 0.1%.
As previously reported, six laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the Donetsk People’s Republic, all those persons are undergoing treatment at departments for infectious diseases within municipal hospitals.
