Ukrainian occupation forces engage Bulgarian-made ammunition and sniper rifles to fire on residential buildings in the Trudovskaya Mine’s village and a school in the village of Alexandrovka, the DPR People’s Militia reports.
On April 22 and 23, Ukraine’s armed formations continued to carry out terrorist shelling of the western suburbs of Donetsk.
And today, on April 24, a fire broke out in a residential building at 25 Rudnev Street in Zaitsevo as Ukrainian forces again shelled DPR localities. The fire has been extinguished so far.
In the village of the Trudovskaya Mine, which was engaged with grenade launchers, an outbuilding sustained damage at 8 Krasnaya Zvezda Street.
According to the spokesperson for the DPR People’s Militia, Dmitry Astrakhan, Ukraine’s armed formations won’t cease shelling the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Thus, on April 22, the village of Aleksandrovka came under fire launched with grenade launchers and sniper rifles. The windows of a local comprehensive school were targeted, the glazing was damaged.
From to the data obtained it becomes obvious that the sniper of the AFU special operations forces deliberately targeted the windows of the village’s secondary school. Under fire there also came the village of the Trudovskaya Mine, which was engaged with grenade launchers of various types, including Bulgarian-made grenade launchers RPG 22, which is obvious from the markings on the engines which did not explode.
And here is what local residents, who have survived that attack, told Dmitry Astrakhan, the spokesperson for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate.
Raisa, local resident
— Shelling is ongoing almost every day. That is how we live. We are forced to hide in a basement. It happened tonight as well. We were hiding in a basement corner. Of course, when my grandson is here, I cover him with my body in order to safeguard him at least somehow. That is our daily routine as shelling takes place every day.
— Were attacks stepped up or did the nature of the shelling change in the period of the Minsk subgroup meeting a week ago?
— Sure, there was a change. I don’t know what it came connected to but a week ago they were targeting precisely the residential quarters. Nearly every house sustained damage in this street.

— Shells passed through the roof from this and that side — from the Ukrainian direction. Four slates were passed through, there is an open hole in the roof over there. The shelling occurred at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m. Our neighbours were also affected. Nearly the entire street has suffered damage. And another shelling was ongoing the whole night.
