The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated and is investigating a criminal case under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code against commander of the 10th AFU separate mountain assault brigade V. I. Zubanich and his subordinates for committing a terrorist act, the press service of the law enforcement agency reports.
“On May 7, 2020, military of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade, on the orders of their commander V.I. Zubanich, launched an attack on Tsentralnaya Street, the village of Sakhanka, Novoazovsky district. Five civilians, including two children born 2006, suffered fragmentation injuries,” the statement reads.
Case officers the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office are currently conducting the necessary investigative activities.
