Today, on May 20, by Order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR People’s Militia units have switched to a high alert status, spokesman for the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin stated.
“As part of the high alert measures, People’s Militia units have arranged 24-hour security and defense of military posts, important facilities, headquarters and command posts, additional posts and patrolling have also been arranged.
All kinds of military units who were stationed at training grounds and areas have returned to their bases. Personnel have been recalled from leave and detached service. Weapons and military equipment have been put on to full combat readiness. Military supplies have been loaded into combat vehicles and motor vehicles.
Thanks to these activities, high military proficiency, maintenance of armament and military equipment in readiness for immediate use, high morale, discipline and vigilance, the People’s Militia military can fight back the Ukrainian aggressor in an orderly manner and accomplish any tasks on time and successfully,” Eduard Basurin said.
