Ukrainian militants violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours, Spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on June 5.
On the Mariupol front, militants of the 128th brigade fired 12 grenades of various types at Tavricheskoye. A woman born 1940 suffered a concussion as a result of shelling.
On the Donetsk front, from the positions of the brigade under Commander Marchenko, Staromikhailovka was engaged with BMP-2 guns, forty 30mm munitions were fired at the village. As a result of the shelling, there was registered damage to residential buildings at 12 Gagarina Street and 17 Dnepropetrovskaya Street.

The enemy fire was promptly suppressed by adequate retaliatory actions by the People’s Militia units. Three militants were killed, three more wounded, and two IFVs were destroyed.
