At the instruction of the DPR Head, People’s Militia medical units and the Ministry of Health are carrying out activities to prevent the coronavirus from proliferating among the personnel of parade crews as part of the preparations for the Victory Day parade, which will take place on 24 June, spokesman for the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk.

To this end, the parade crews, as well as all personnel involved in the activities, were tested for the coronavirus.

People’s Militia units are decontaminating accommodation facilities, weapons, military equipment, and parade training grounds with chlorine-containing solution.

Prior to the training, participants in the parade are taken the temperature, the personnel are provided with protective masks, which they change every two hours, as well as with gloves and hand sanitizers.

The available stock of medical equipment makes it possible to ensure the safety of the People’s Militia personnel, as well as of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and members of the Young Guard-Yunarmiya Military Patriotic Movement.

Specialists from the medical service and the Ministry of Health always are on alert and monitor compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards.
