On Wednesday of 17 June, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin on the eve of Medical Worker Day handed the keys to an apartment over to the young family of Roman Chalyuk and Ekaterina Shmatova, who work in the Rudnichnaya Clinical Hospital of Makeyevka. “You are a young family of specialists who are on the frontline today in the fight against the coronavirus infection. Thank you very much for not leaving when you had the chance to get away from all this. You help our citizens, so the state should do everything possible for you,” the Head of Republic stressed when handing the keys to an apartment over to the young family.
Ekaterina and Roman thanked the Head of Republic for the comprehensive support to young specialists and, in particular, to their family.
“It is only fair to say that there is not yet the social security that should be. I am certain that together we will ensure that our medical workers are fully protected. And we will do our best to do it on a permanent, systematic basis. That’s what we’re trying to do.
We understand that you have given years to learn this profession, and now you are saving lives. The state should definitely pay attention to that. Happy holiday again!” Denis Pushilin said.
