Today, June 26, is Alexander Zakharchenko’s birthday, a mourning event took place at his monument in the Alley of Heroes. Denis Pushilin, Alexander Zakharchenko’s parents, heads of ministries, agencies and public organizations of the Republic came to pay tribute to the memory of the first Head of the DPR, who died in the terrorist attack, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
“Dear friends! Today, on Alexander Zakharchenko’s birthday, we have gathered to honor the memory of a true hero, friend and patriot. Of course, we remember how his life was cut short by the despicable terrorist attack in the prime of his life, in the very beginning of those ambitious plans that he committed himself and the Republic to for the sake of the residents.
He was real in everything. Without lies and hypocrisy. He managed to be the first in everything, both on the front and in state-building.
Our task is to turn into reality all that he did not, all that he dreamed of since 2014. That is our objective,” Denis Pushilin said.
Those present laid flowers at the monument to Alexander Zakharchenko and expressed sincere condolences to his parents.
