The DPR has paid over half a billion rubles of financial aid to victims of Ukraine’s aggression

The DPR Ministry of Labor and Social Policy reports that the total amount of lump sum compensation paid to DPR residents affected by the Ukrainian aggression has exceeded 500 million rubles for six years.

Thus, since June 2014, the amount lump-sum compensation for the harm to the lives and health of citizens, caused by the aggression of the armed forces and armed groups of Ukraine, has totaled more than 562 million rubles. At the same time, 111.9 million rubles have been paid to the victims for six months of this year alone.

Note that the specified lump sum compensation has been paid in the Donetsk People’s Republic since 2014 in accordance with the Republic Law of June 20, 2014, On the Urgent Measures of Social Protection of the Citizens Living in the Territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic in Conditions of the Aggression of the Armed Forces and Armed Groups of Ukraine. The amounts and procedure of granting the phased partial payments are regulated by the Order of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
