Дело остается за провокацией, которая будет использована в качестве повода. Об этом в ходе отчетного брифинга 14 декабря рассказал заместитель командующего Оперативным командованием, полковник Эдуард Басурин.
«Комиссия штаба ООС под руководством Наева провела проверку войск на Мариупольском направлении, в ходе которой были заслушаны решения командующего ОТГ «Восток» генерала Мойсюка и командиров 56-й омпбр, 79-й одшбр и 128-й огшбр по выполнению предстоящих задач.
Так, Мойсюк доложил о готовности подразделений 128-й и 79-й бригад, находящихся в первом эшелоне, к наступлению. Танковые подразделения рассредоточены группами до двух взводов вдоль линии соприкосновения по фронту от Виноградного до Старогнатовки. 56-я мотопехотная бригада находится на северной окраине Мариуполя.
Для доукомплектования наступательной группировки 12 декабря в пункт временной дислокации 79-й одшбр прибыло пополнение в количестве 220 человек. Большинство из прибывших являются резервистами, ранее проходившими сборы на полигонах Украины. Кроме этого, 34 человека из новобранцев являются военнослужащими срочной службы, с которыми только планируется заключить контракт. Также в соединение прибыли 32 человека из Житомирского учебного центра ДШВ.
В 56-ю бригаду дополнительно переброшено десять танков из 2-го батальона 17-й танковой бригады в Кривом Роге.
Артиллерийская группировка распределена следующим образом:
— реактивная батарея на БМ-21 «Град» 79-й одшбр замаскирована в районе Македоновки в 16 км от линии соприкосновения;
— реактивный дивизион «Градов» 128-й огшбр рассредоточен в лесном массиве на севере Андреевки в 16 км от передовой;
— дивизион 220-мм РСЗО «Ураган» 27-й артиллерийской бригады сосредоточен в районе Привольного в 25 км от переднего края;
— дивизион 300-мм РСЗО «Смерч» 15-го реактивного полка сосредоточен в лесном массиве на юге Володарского в 30 км от наших позиций.
Все украинские артиллерийские подразделения обеспечены двумя боекомплектами боеприпасов, которые за три дня до этого были доставлены из Розовки, с полевого артиллерийского склада ОТГ «Восток», расположенного на границе Запорожской и Донецкой областей.
Тактические группы ВМС Украины «Тритон» и «Мариуполь» находятся в районе Мариупольского порта в готовности к действию. 11 декабря командирам боевых кораблей поставлена боевая задача по прикрытию наземной группировки оккупационных войск Украины с моря.
Информационное обеспечение наступательных действий возложено на Главный центр информационно-психологических операций ВСУ. В настоящее время в Мариуполь прибыли группы журналистов западных и украинских СМИ. Координацию работы журналистов будет производить заместитель начальника Главного центра ИПсО, капитан 2 ранга Свириденко Александр Валентинович (личный номер 2945216219)», — сообщил Эдуард Басурин.
Кроме этого, полковник доложил, что с началом текущей недели противником были усилены все виды разведки на Мариупольском направлении. Радиоразведка велась тремя мобильными группами 82-го разведцентра РЭР (радиоэлектронной разведки) из Одессы, из районов вблизи Сартаны, Водяного и Каменки. Подразделения ВС ДНР за это время уничтожили шесть беспилотных летательных аппаратов врага типа «квадрокоптер», пытавшихся вести разведку на переднем крае.

Tank units are deployed by groups up to two platoons strong along the line of contact at the front from Vinogradnoye to Starognatovka. The 56th motorized infantry brigade is located on the northern outskirts of Mariupol.
For the completion of the offensive grouping on December 12,th a resupply of 220 people arrived at the temporary deployment center of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade. Most of those arrived are reservists who had previously undergone training at training grounds of Ukraine. In addition, 34 people from recruits are conscripts, with whom it is only planned to conclude a contract. Also, 32 people from the Zhytomyr training center of the airborne forces arrived at the unit.
Ten tanks from the 2nd battalion of the 17th tank brigade in Krivoy Rog were additionally transferred to the 56th brigade.
Artillery grouping is distributed as follows:
— rocket battery on BM-21 Grad of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade is disguised in the area of Makedonovka, 16 km from the line of contact;
—rocket battalion of Grads of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade is deployed in a wooded area in the north of Andreyevka, 16 km from the front line;
— battalion of the 220mm MLRS Uragan of the 27th artillery brigade is deployed in the area of Privolnoye, 25 km from the front edge;
— battalion of the 300mm MLRS Smerch of 15th rocket regiment is deployed in a forest in the south of Volodarskoye, 30 km from our positions.
All the Ukrainian artillery units are provided with two allotments of rounds, which three days before were delivered from Rozovka, from the field artillery depot of the Vostok Task Forces, located on the border of Zaporozhe and Donetsk Regions.
The Task Forces of the Ukrainian Naval Forces “Triton” and “Mariupol” are located in the area of the Mariupol port ready for acting. On December 11th, the commanders of the warships were assigned the combat task of covering the ground grouping of the occupying forces of Ukraine from the sea.
Information support for offensive actions is entrusted to the Main Center for Information and Psychological Operations of the AFU. Currently, groups of Western and Ukrainian journalists have arrived in Mariupol. The coordination of the work of journalists will be carried out by the deputy chief of the IPSO Main Center, captain of the 2nd rank Alexander V. Sviridenko (personal number 2945216219),” Eduard Basurin reported.
In addition, the Colonel reported that early this week, the adversary had reinforced all types of reconnaissance in the Mariupol direction. Radio reconnaissance was carried out by three mobile groups of the 82-th reconnaissance center of the electronic intelligence from Odessa, from areas near Sartana, Vodyanoye and Kamenka. During this time, the units of the DPR Armed Forces destroyed six enemy vehicles of quadrotor model, which tried to carry out reconnaissance at the front edge.
