Вчера после закрытия украинской стороной КПВВ «Горловка – Майорск» в нейтральной зоне остались 60 гражданских лиц, следовавших с территории ДНР на подконтрольную Украине территорию. Представители погранслужбы Украины категорически отказались их пропустить.

С целью разрешения сложившейся ситуации со стороны ДНР был предоставлен автобус, который забрал 40 граждан и доставил на территорию ДНР. Остальные 20 человек остались ждать открытия КПВВ Украины в нейтральной зоне.

Только после обращения Представительства ДНР в СЦКК и в переговорном процессе к украинской стороне в СЦКК через СММ ОБСЕ удалось добиться пропуска гражданских лиц. В 21:00 украинские пограничники начали регистрацию оставшихся 20 человек для дальнейшего пропуска.

Это не первый случай, когда украинская сторона намеренно создает препятствия для мирных жителей, пересекающих КПВВ, в период сложных погодных условий. Из-за наплевательского отношения украинских пограничников к мирным жителям, которые не успели пересечь КПВВ по вине украинской стороны, люди вынуждены подвергаться риску.

Yesterday, after the closure by the Ukrainian side of the Gorlovka–Mayorsk checkpoint, 60 civilians traveling from the territory of the DPR to the territory controlled by Ukraine were left in the neutral zone. Representatives of the border guard service of Ukraine categorically refused to let them through.

In order to resolve the current situation on the part of the DPR, a bus was provided, which got 40 citizens and took them to the territory of the DPR. The remaining 20 people were left to wait for the opening of the checkpoint of Ukraine in the neutral zone.

Only after the appeal of the DPR Representative Office to the JCCC and negotiation process to the Ukrainian party to the JCCC, through the OSCE SMM, it was possible to secure the passage of civilians. At 21:00, the Ukrainian border guards began registering the remaining 20 people for further passage.

This was not the first time that the Ukrainian side deliberately creates obstacles for civilians crossing checkpoints in the period of bad weather conditions. Because of indifference of the Ukrainian border guards towards civilians who did not manage to cross the checkpoint on time through the fault of the Ukrainian side, the people were jeopardized.
