Более 950 тысяч человек уже присоединились к народной акции «Выбор Донбасса», требуя от президента Украины Владимира Зеленского прекращения обстрелов, возврата пенсий, признания права на интеграцию с Россией.
Наиболее активными участниками акции стали представители молодежи Донбасса, которым небезразлично будущее своей страны и собственного народа.
«Молодежь всегда была движущей силой. И неслучайно эту акцию начала молодая девушка из Горловки. Я сам из Киевского района Донецка. У нас тишины не было с 2014 года, в самый разгар боевых действий в соседний дом прилетел снаряд. В самые громкие и страшные дни мы укрывались в подвалах… И вот опять слышна канонада, как тогда – в 14-м. Донбасс устал от войны и потерь. Мы хотим мира. Именно это главная цель обращения к Зеленскому – мир в Донбассе! Те диванные критики, которые считают, что это проукраинская акция – передаю вам привет. Поднимитесь с дивана, послушайте голос разума! Мы не отрекаемся от выбранного пути, мы все пять лет следуем ему, мы ездим в Россию, мы получаем российские паспорта, мы расплачиваемся рублем. Мы не собираемся на Украину! И мы требуем у пана Зеленского признать выбор Донбасса», — написал на своих страницах в социальных сетях Герман Рудницкий из Донецка.
Его призыв также поддержали представители активной молодежи в соседней, Луганской Народной Республике.
«Луганск принимает вызов! Нас, поддержавших требования к Зеленскому, уже почти миллион! Предлагаем отметить миллион подписчиков встречей! Ребята, максимально рассказывайте об акции знакомым, чем больше нас будет, тем сложнее будет Зеленскому и всему мировому сообществу нас игнорировать! Нас ведь почти миллион! Давайте объединимся — и на сайте «Выбор Донбасса» будет семизначная цифра!
И сейчас, пользуясь случаем, хочу обратиться еще раз к новому президенту Украины. Зеленский, ты слышишь нас? Нас почти миллион! Донбасс говорит с тобой! Донбасс требует от тебя признать его выбор!», — ответил Михаил Голубович из Луганска.

We have not had silence since 2014, in the midst of fighting a shell hit a neighboring house. In the loudest and most terrible days, we hid in basements… We hear the cannonade again, as it was then, in 2014. Donbass is tired of war and losses. We want peace. This is the main purpose of the appeal to Zelensky — peace in Donbass! I give my regards to those armchair critics who believe that it’s a pro-Ukrainian campaign. Get up off the couch, listen to the voice of reason! We don’t deny the chosen path, we’ve been following it for all five years, we leave for Russia, we get Russian passports, our currency is ruble. We’re not going to Ukraine! And we demand that Mr. Zelensky recognize the choice of Donbass,” Herman Rudnitsky from Donetsk posted on his social network pages.
His appeal was also supported by representatives of the active youth from the neighboring Lugansk People’s Republic.
“Lugansk takes the challenge! We, the ones who supported the terms to Zelensky, are almost a million! We suggest commemorating a million subscribers with a meeting! Guys, tell your friends as much as possible about the campaign. The more we are, the harder it’s for Zelensky and the world community to ignore us! There is almost a million of us! Let’s unite and the seven-digit figure will appear on the website of the Choice of Donbass!
And now, taking this opportunity, I want to appeal once again to the new president of Ukraine. Zelensky, can you hear us? There is almost a million of us! Donbass speaks to you! Donbass demands that you recognize our choice!” Mikhail Golubovich from Lugansk responded.
