Сегодня, 22 августа, впервые в истории Донецкой Народной Республики в столице прошел праздничный митинг ко Дню Государственного флага России. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, дончане с воодушевлением восприняли это событие, свидетельствующее о единстве Донбасса с Россией и русским народом.

В мероприятии приняли участие Председатель Народного Совета ДНР Владимир Бидёвка, депутат Государственной Думы Российской Федерации, координатор Интеграционного комитета «Россия – Донбасс» Андрей Козенко, депутат Государственной Думы, председатель Объединения профсоюзов России СОЦПРОФ Сергей Вострецов, депутат Народного Совета ДНР, руководитель фракции «Донецкая Республика» Валерий Скороходов и другие.

«Сегодня мы отмечаем великий праздник — День Государственного флага Российской Федерации. Российский триколор сыграл в нашей жизни очень большую роль. Именно с этим флагом жители ДНР поднялись пять лет назад, именно российский флаг стал символом единства, братства и свободы. Мы гордимся этим флагом. Россия протянула руку помощи миллионам наших людей, опаленных войной, в то время как Украина обстреливает нашу землю. За эти пять лет мы каждый день убеждаемся в правильности нашего выбора — интеграции с Россией и восстановления исторической справедливости. И мы уверены в своём выборе!» — сказал Владимир Бидёвка.

«Позвольте мне от всех россиян и от моих земляков-крымчан поздравить вас с этим замечательным праздником! Я искренне рад и горд, что сегодня на героической земле Донбасса развевается российский триколор. Спасибо каждому жителю Донбасса за мужество и патриотизм, за героизм, за любовь к нашему флагу, гербу и гимну», — обратился к дончанам Андрей Козенко.

От имени жителей ДНР на митинге выступила педагог-организатор Дома детского творчества Ворошиловского района Донецка Валентина Ефименко. «Дорогие земляки! Для нас День Государственного флага Российской Федерации — большой праздник. Ведь это Россия первая протянула нам руку помощи в годы тяжёлых испытаний. И мы каждый день идём к своей цели — домой, в Россию!» — подчеркнула она.

Напомним, что в День Государственного флага России над главной площадью Донецка было поднято бело-сине-красное полотнище. Его размер — 3х5 метров. А честь водрузить этот символ была предоставлена помощнику депутата Государственной Думы России Андрею Боголюбову.

Today, on August 22nd, for the first time in the history of the Donetsk People’s Republic, a festive rally dedicated to Day of the National Flag of Russia was held in the capital. According to a correspondent of the DPRR official website, Donetsk residents were enthusiastic about this event, which testifies to the unity of Donbass with Russia and the Russian people.

The event was attended by Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, coordinator of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee Andrei Kozenko, deputy of the State Duma, chairman of the SOTSPROF Trade Union Amalgamation of Russia Sergey Vostretsov, deputy of the DPR People’s Council, head of the Donetsk Republic faction Valery Skorokhodov and others.

“Today we celebrate a great holiday —Day of the National Flag of the Russian Federation. The Russian tricolor played a very big role in our life. With this flag the residents of the DPR rose five years ago, the Russian flag became a symbol of unity, fraternity and freedom. We are proud of this flag. Russia extended a helping hand to millions of our people scorched by the war, while Ukraine was shelling our land. Over these five years, every day we have been convinced of the correctness of our choice — the integration into Russia and the restoration of historical justice. And we are confident in our choice!” Vladimir Bidyovka said.

“Let me congratulate you on this wonderful holiday on behalf of all Russians and my fellow Crimeans! I am sincerely glad and proud that today the Russian tricolor is fluttering in the heroic land of Donbass. Thanks to every resident of Donbass for their courage and patriotism, for the heroism, for the love of our flag, national emblem and anthem,” Andrei Kozenko addressed the residents of Donetsk.

On behalf of the residents of the DPR, Valentina Efimenko, a facilitator at the Children’s Creativity House of Voroshilovsky District of Donetsk, made a speech at the rally. “Dear fellow countrymen! Day of the National Flag of the Russian Federation is a great holiday to us. After all, Russia was first to extend a helping hand to us during the years of hard trials. And every day we move closer to our goal — home, to Russia!” she emphasized.

Recall that on Day of the National Flag of Russia, a white-blue-red cloth was raised above the main square of Donetsk. Its size is 3 to 5 meters. And the honor to hoist this symbol was given to assistant to the deputy of the State Duma of Russia Andrei Bogolyubov.
