15 июля в Снежном прошел митинг–реквием, приуроченный пятой годовщине авиаудара ВСУ по городу. Более 3000 жителей города собрались возле дома №14 по улице Ленина, чтобы почтить память погибших мирных жителей Снежного. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба ОД «Донецкая Республика».

«Как и пять лет назад преступники из ВСУ не признают своей вины в совершении данного преступления. Они обвиняют во всем ополченцев, – настоящих защитников Донбасса. Мы хорошо помним риторику украинских СМИ пятилетней давности о том, что мы сами себя обстреливаем.

Новая киевская власть оправдывает ежедневные обстрелы мирных городов, школ, детских садов и больниц тем, что якобы наши бойцы ведут огонь с этих позиций, а ВСУ вынуждены отвечать. Эту наглую ложь в СМИ распространяет уже окружение нового президента Украины Владимира Зеленского», — отметил руководитель ЦИ общественного движения «Донецкая Республика» Алексей Муратов.

В свою очередь глава администрации Снежного Александр Скворцов заявил, что святой долг каждого жителя Республики помнить о каждом погибшем от агрессии ВСУ. «Этот дом пока еще не восстановлен до конца, идут ремонтные работы. Наш долг отстроить его, чтобы в нем по-прежнему жили люди, был слышен детский смех», — сказал он, добавив, что в октябре этого года дом будет сдан в эксплуатацию.

По завершению митинга была открыта мемориальная доска с именами 12 погибших мирных жителей, к которой были возложены цветы и зажжены траурные лампадки.

On July 15th, a rally requiem was held in Snezhnoye commemorating the fifth anniversary of the AFU air strike on the town. More than 3,000 residents of the town gathered near the house at 14 Lenina Street to honor the memory of peaceful residents killed in Snezhnoye. This is reported by the press office of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement.

“Like five years ago, criminals from the AFU do not admit their guilt on committing this crime. They blame the militia, the real defenders of Donbass. We remember well the rhetoric of the Ukrainian media five years ago that we were shooting at ourselves.

The new Kiev authorities justify the daily shelling of peaceful towns, schools, kindergartens and hospitals by the fact that our fighters allegedly open fire from those positions, and the AFU are forced to respond. This impudent lie on the media is already being disseminated by the entourage of new president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky,” chief of the executive committee of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement Alexey Muratov noted.

In turn, mayor of Snezhnoye Alexander Skvortsov stated that it’s a sacred duty of every citizen of the Republic to remember everyone who died from the AFU aggression. “This house has not yet been fully reconstructed, repairs are ongoing. Our duty is to rebuild it so that people continue to live in it, so that children’s laughter be heard,” he said and added that in October of this year the house would be commissioned.

At the end of the rally, a memorial plaque with the names of 12 dead civilians was set up, near which they laid flowers and lit mourning lamps.
