Today, on November 23, owing to the support of the DPR Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, a group of children with special needs living in centres of the Donetsk People’s Republic for the social rehabilitation of adults and children with disabilities visited the Donetsk Kosmos Circus.
36 small residents of the Republic, accompanied by their parents, came from Gorlovka, Yenakiyevo, Snezhnoye and Shakhtyorsk.
“With a view to call public attention to the problems of the disabled, to facilitate their integration into society, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the DPR provides comprehensive support in organizing events dedicated to the International Day of the Disabled. And a visit to the performance given by the Donetsk circus is just one of them.
Going to a circus is always like a grand occasion for children, particularly if these are special children. They require even more attention, it is very important for them to be engaged in the society, and to enjoy a variety of leisure activities. I am sure that today’s event will bring them a lot of positive emotions,” Victoria Pikiner, Director of the Department for Veterans, Disabled and Other Categories of the DPR Ministry of Labour, said.
