Ukrainian militants violated the ceasefire twelve times over the past 24 hours, official representative of the DPR PMD Dmitry Astrakhan reported on January 23.
On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th and 58th AFU brigades fired at Dolomitnoye and the 6/7 mine’s village with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, including sniper weapons.
On the Donetsk front, forces of the 56th and 28th brigades fired at the Trudovskaya mine’s village in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and the airport vicinities with 82mm mortars and grenade launchers of various types.
On the Mariupol front, forces of the 10th brigade fired at Leninskoye, Sakhanka, Novaya Tavriya, Krasnoarmeiskoye and Kominternovo with 120mm mortars, IFV guns, heavy machine guns and small arms.
From the beginning of the day, the enemy continued to shell the territory of the Republic in the Staromikhailovka area (the Donetsk front) with IFV-2 guns and small arms. As a result of the shelling, four houses sustained damages at 126 and 128 Lenina Street, 52 Kotsyubinskogo Street and 4 Bakinskikh Commissarov Street.
Information on the destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.
