This morning, on February 5, the armed formations of Ukraine carried out a massive fire attack on the civilian areas of Gorlovka, as a result of which the 6/7 mine’s village was de-energized.
According to the duty officer of the DPR Ministry of Coal and Energy, due to the shelling there failed a 6 kV connection to the 234th transformer substation in the 32th distribution hub, 9 transformer substations were disconnected, and 1,024 households were cut off electricity. The power cut occurred at about 8:30 a.m.
Specialists of the Central Electric Networks of the Republican Regional Energy Supply Company have already arrived at the site and have begun to inspect the electric line and equipment of the transformer substation.
After the damage is identified, restoration works will be performed in the shortest possible time. The main thing is that the AFU do not resume shelling during emergency repairs.
