Over the past day, the armed formations of Ukraine engaged Republic populated localities 18 times, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on February 5.
“On the Gorlovka front, militants from the 59th and 58th brigades attacked Dolomitnoye and the village of Gagarin Mine with 82mm mortars, anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
On the Donetsk front, the forces of the 28th and 56th brigades using 82mm mortars, IFV guns, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms engaged Spartak, Staromikhaylovka, Aleksandrovka, Dokuchayevsk, the village of Trudovskaya Mine and the Donetsk airport.
As a result of the attack on the village of Trudovskaya Mine, five houses are damaged at the following addresses: 36, 40, 97, 103 Zelyony Gai Street and 149 Shestakova Street.
On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th brigade attacked Leninskoye and Sakhanka by using anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms,” Oleg Nikitin reported.
He also added that militants of the 58th brigade had targeted the village of Mine 6/7, Gorlovka, this morning. As a result of the firing, a water pipe line and power lines on Timiryazeva Street were damaged, which caused a blackout in the entire village, the premises of the former school at 26 Timiryazeva Street are damaged. Emergency crews from the DPR public utility services brought back power to the village.
“Additional information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and civilian casualties is being specified. Information about the attacks on the localities has been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to open criminal cases against AFU brigade commanders Marchenko, Zubanich, Ivanov and Kaschenko,” Oleg Nikitin concluded.
