At the daily briefing, official representative of the DPR People’s Militia Rinat Aigistov reported incoming information on non-combat losses in the AFU ranks.
“We continue to receive information on the enemy’s non-combat losses. Three Ukrainian militants were killed and two were wounded in the Vostok Operational Tactical Group over the past day.
Another incident of non-combat losses occurred tonight near the positions of the 58th brigade, where one of the militants, straying from the route while moving to the positions at night, entered a minefield in front of his trenches, where an explosion took place.
To date, the Commander of the Sever Operational Tactical Group has tasked Commander of the 58th brigade Kashchenko with a complete ceasefire in the incident area for the body of the deceased to be evacuated.
It is important to note that the fact that his subordinate had hit their own mine has been reported to the brigade commander by the Operational Tactical Group Commander, who in his turn received this information from the SBU military counterintelligence officers, which once again confirms the complete indifference and abstaining of the brigade command personnel from monitoring their subordinates’ actions and presence in the conflict zone.
During a check of duty on a platoon stronghold near Novosyolovka Vtoraya, staff officers of the 128th brigade found two militants without signs of life: soldier Kudinov and senior soldier Valkovsky. According to preliminary data, the deaths of the militants resulted from a poisoning with low-quality alcohol, bottles of which were found on the scene. In order to conceal these circumstances, brigade commander Goncharuk documented them as absent without leave.
Due to poor rear support and lack of fuel for heating equipment at the positions of the 28th brigade near Novomikhailovka, two militants, soldiers Vershinin and Gorbyl, were evacuated with a diagnosis of general hypothermia and frostbite of the upper and lower limbs. One of the militants required amputation of the fingers of his right hand.”
