After the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, the Ukrainian side made a number of statements about the impossibility of implementing the Minsk agreements. The DPR plenipotentiary representative to the talks in Minsk, Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalya Nikonorova commented on these statements.

“Representatives of Ukraine are strong only after a fight is over — at the meeting of the Contact Group, only fading excuses were heard from them for disrupting the disengagement in Petrovskoye and Zolotoye. But then, it became known from Facebook that Ukraine allegedly announced certain conditions on top of that. What conditions about the fulfillment of agreements can lay down the party that was forced to sign them after the defeats in battles? This is the first thing.

The second one. Such fantasies of representatives of Kiev can only lead to the fact that Ukraine as a state itself gradually becomes a myth. The “announced” conditions completely contradict the essence of the Minsk agreements and make their implementation impossible. In accordance with the Complex of Measures, anything can be agreed on only with the DPR and LPR to resolve the conflict in Donbass. The denial of this fact is the road to nowhere, the state is falling to pieces and the rest still lives only off lies, which no longer can outwit Donbass.

The Ukrainian side should realize as soon as possible that such rhetoric only widens the breach between Donbass and Kiev, between reality and fiction,” the head of the foreign-policy establishment stated.
