The adversary violated the ceasefire twenty-four times over the past day, official representative of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Oleg Nikitin reported.
In the Gorlovka direction, militants of the 59th brigade engaged fire on the Gagarin mine village with heavy machine guns and small arms. House at 40 Grechko Street sustained damage resulting from the shelling.
In the Donetsk direction, the forces of the 92nd and 28th brigades engaged 82-mm mortars, IFV weapons, anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, heavy-caliber machine guns and small arms on the localities of Vasilievka and Staromikhailovka, causing shrapnel damage to a residential building at Pionerskaya Street 15.
In the Mariupol direction, from the positions of the 36th brigade there were engaged 120 and 82-mm mortars, IFV weapons, anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, heavy-caliber machine guns and small arms on the localities of Leninskoye, Sakhanka, Novaya Tavriya, Oktyabr and Kominternovo, where a residential building at 34 Kirov Street caught fire as a result of the mortar shelling.
Ukrainian militants fired the total of 447 different munitions on the territory of the Republic.
Since the start of this day, the enemy engaged fire with small arms on Naberezhnoye locality. Information on civilian casualties and destructions is being specified.
Besides, the Republic’s air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian Furia and Phantom UAVs, one of which was used to adjust the bombardments of Kominternovo locality, and the other conducted surveillance in the area of Krutaya Balka locality.
