As a result of the sabotage attack on the cell tower, Phoenix subscribers in Proletarsky district of Donetsk might have trouble with mobile communication services. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communications.
According to the DPR State Security Ministry, at 9:48, an improvised explosive device of directional effect was remotely detonated, which resulted in partial damage to the equipment of the mobile communication tower of the Phoenix provider.
“As of 6 p.m., emergency services are implementing a set of measures to minimize and eliminate the consequences of the sabotage attack.
A criminal case is opened under Article 256 of the DPR Criminal Code ‘Illegal Acquisition, Transfer, Sale, Storage, Transportation or Carrying of Weapons, Their Main Parts, Ammunition, Explosives or Explosive Devices’ and Article 327 ‘Sabotage’.
The necessary investigative and active search measures are being taken.
