The Deputy Minister of Coal and Energy of the DPR, Alexei Vasilenko, spoke about the immense potential to export coal at the Donbass Economic Potential panel.
“To date, in the Republic there are six coal mining enterprises which employ 31,198 people. Over the years, 48 mining faces and 1 new level have been opened in the Republic, 224 km of mine workings have been covered,” Vasilenko said.
According to the Deputy Minister of Coal and Energy of the DPR, despite the blockade and the complicated economic situation, the coal mining industry of the Republic has survived and keeps developing.
“It’s safe to say that for today the Republic is provided with coal and enjoys a significant potential to export brands of ‘black gold’,” Vasilenko said.
He also added that the DPR is in position to build up the industry in record time.
