Rector of the Donetsk Academy of Management and Public Administration under the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Larisa Kostrovets stated at the Plenary of the Donetsk International Investment Forum that two new production facilities would be launched in the Republic.
She stressed that the Forum’s participants had discussed major activities to achieve the key tasks related to the further development of Donbass.
“The main point was the modernization of traditional sectors of the economy and the shift towards the export-oriented economy,” she said.
Among other things, Kostrovets said that 34 agreements totalling 135,6 billion rubbles in the industrial and agricultural sectors, as well as regarding the newly introduced investment projects, had been signed within the Forum.
“In addition, the launch of new production facilities such as the Petrovsk Machine-Building Plant and the hardware products factory was announced,” she added.
