On the occasion of National Unity Day, at the initiative of the Free Donbass Public Movement, a festive event called “Our Strength Is In The People’s Unity” took place near the Yubileinyi Palace of Culture.
A musical band “Zhuravushki” and a children’s model musical band “Vocal Studio Voice” performed for residents of Proletarsky District of Donetsk. Deputies of the DPR People’s Council from the Free Donbass faction Vladimir Medvedev, Yuri Sivokonenko, Aleksandr Malkov, as well as DPR Public Chamber member Stanislav Shaposhnikov visited the event as honorary guests.
Vladimir Medvedev congratulated those present on National Unity Day and wished them peace and harmony.
“Ukrainian politicians’ rhetoric has once again confirmed Kiev’s unwillingness to comply with the Minsk Agreements, thereby giving the republics the opportunity to continue following their own path towards the integration into the Russian Federation and to show the entire world our ability to comply with agreements, and our trustworthiness,” Vladimir Medvedev emphasized.
At the end of the event, the DPR People’s Council deputies and the residents of Proletarsky District of Donetsk planted a line of pines in the park near the Yubileinyi Palace of Culture.
