The enemy fired 167 munitions on the Republic’s territory over the past day — DPR PMD

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian militants engaged fire twenty-three times onto the areas of the Republic’s localities. In total, Ukrainian militants fired 167 different munitions, the official spokesperson for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Rinat Aigistov reported at a briefing in Donetsk on November 5.

“On the Donetsk front, militants of the 92nd and 28th brigades engaged fire on the areas of the localities of Yasinovataya, Vasilievka and Staromikhaylovka with 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

On the Mariupol front, militants of the 36th and 128th brigades engaged fire with 120mm and 82mm mortars, anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms onto the areas of the localities of Leninskoye, Oktyabr, Kulikovo, Novolaspa, Sosnovskoye, Novaya Tavriya, and Kominternovo.

Information on civilian casualties and destructions is being specified. All the information on war crimes has been provided to international human rights organizations and the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office,” Rinat Aigistov said.

He also pointed out the critical situation in securing weapons and ammunition in the AFU and the high level of corruption in the AFU ranks.

“With regard to the current situation, President of Ukraine Zelensky signed the Decree “On additional measures to improve the conditions of storage of missiles and ammunition in the arsenals, bases and warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” In this regard, it cannot be excluded that a number of explosions will take place in the AFU warehouses of missile and artillery weapons in the near future, as the commission of such sabotage still remains an effective way to conceal weapons’ misappropriation,” Rinat Aigistov emphasized.

According to the official spokesperson for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate, over the past day, in the disengagement areas near the localities of Nikolayevka and Novognatovka there has been detected the arrival of up to 60 members of radical nationalist organizations’ armed formations, and there have already been registered clashes between radicals and personnel of the battalion.
