The Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s Staff for Frontline Areas provided assistance to residents of five towns and districts: Gorlovka, Debaltsevo, Dokuchayevsk, Sakhanka and Petrovsky District of Donetsk. The activities on the delivery of aid were carried out on Wednesday of November 6th, the DRPM’s press service reports.
Lubov Klimova, a resident of the frontline village of Ozeryanovka, Gorlovka, received a refrigerator from the Public Staff for Frontline Areas. It was handed over by DPR People’s Council deputy Alexander Bykadorov.
The woman has ended up in a difficult live situation. In winter 2015, a shell struck the house. As a result, the house and the old refrigerator were damaged. Lubov and her son had no opportunity to buy a new one. Thanks to the DRPM’s Public Staff for Frontline Areas, the family now has got its own refrigerator.
DPR People’s Council deputy Klavdiya Kulbatskaya handed over humanitarian sets to people in Dokuchayevsk, who desperately needed support. A woman from the village of Yasny received blood sugar test-strips, and 35 packages of adult diapers were handed over to physically challenged bedridden people.
DPR People’s Council deputy Natalya Chekareva handed blood glucose meters and blood glucose test-strips over to residents of the frontline village of Sakhanka, as well as mobility equipment for disabled persons and old people.
Because of the constant attacks, it is dangerous in the village. People are afraid to go outside, to either pharmacies or shops, more often than they need. At the request of the residents, the Public Staff for Frontline Areas gave them the necessary supplies.
“A glucose meter and test-strips will make my life really easier, because now I can know what level of blood sugar I have and will be able to control it,” the villager said.
DPR People’s Council deputy Andrey Bayevsky provided assistance to residents of Petrovsky District of Donetsk. People who suffer the first degree of disability were given personal-care products. And the mayor of Debaltsevo, secretary of the DRPM’s office in Debaltsevo Igor Zakharevich, as well as DPR PC deputy Vitaly Kravets distributed humanitarian aid from the Public Staff for Frontline Areas among the needy bedridden people of the town.
