The Criminal Investigation Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated proceedings into an act constituting a crime under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code (act of terror) against the military personnel and commander of the 92nd AFU separate mechanized brigade V.V. Kokorev, the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office reported on November 8.
It has been established that that on November 1, 2019, the military personnel of the brigade, by order of their commander V.V. Kokorev, launched a mortar attack on the village of Donetsk-Severny, Yasinovatsky District, as a result of which a man born in 1979, who was near the house at 22 Privokzalnaya Street, suffered multiple fragmentation wounds of the upper and lower extremities.
Currently, the necessary investigative activities are being conducted as part of the criminal case.
