Today, on November 9, in accordance with the scheduled plan approved by the Contact Group, the stage of practical actions to eliminate violations of the separation of forces and assets has been started on the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka pilot site.
Both parties launched all the corresponding flares signalling readiness to resume the disengagement. Thus, the process of eliminating violations on the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka site, previously disrupted in 2016, can be considered as commenced, and it must be completed within three days from the start.
We welcome the fact that the Ukrainian party was finally able to begin to perform practical actions to implement the agreements reached in Minsk. If Kiev fully implements the process of eliminating violations, this will make a positive step towards de-escalating the conflict.
