By Order 368 as of November 14, 2019, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin established a permanent working group to implement proposals received during the Donetsk International Investment Forum. Its purpose is to coordinate activities of state authorities, educational organizations, scientific institutions and business entities.
The proposal to form such a group came from the members of the organizing committee of the forum, this idea was supported by the leader of the state.
19 people from among scientists, representatives of government and business joined the permanent working group. Its coordination is entrusted to Larisa Kostrovets, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Rector of Donetsk Academy of Management and Civil Service under the auspices of the DPR Head.
The tasks of the working group involve:
— preparation of proposals to formalize recommendations approved during the investment forum, monitoring and control over the implementation of the agreements reached;
— elaboration of proposals for creating favorable conditions for investments in the Republic, including the reduction of administrative barriers when conducting investment and entrepreneurial activities;
— development of awareness about investment opportunities of the DPR among potential investors and analysis of proposals for them.
Each month, the Head of the Republic receives a report on the results of the group’s work.
