The Joint Operation Forces Command hides from the OSCE monitors the facts of prohibited weapons’ presence at the contact line, as well as near civilian objects. Vice-Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported details at the briefing in Donetsk on November 15.

“Over the past week, we revealed numerous facts of the operation of the Bukovel-AD and R-934B electronic warfare systems of the 305th and 20th airborne electronic warfare battalions of the AFU. They operated in the areas of Chermalyk, Novognatovka, Bogdanovka, Stepanovka, Rozovka, Ivanopol and Krasnogorovka, where monitors of the OSCE mission were forced to cease their drones’ activities due to the threat of losing them,” Basurin said.

He also noted that reconnaissance had detected the deployment of nine artillery mounts, twelve tanks, thirty-one armoured combat vehicles, two ATGM systems and eight anti-aircraft missile systems in violation of the Minsk Agreements near residential buildings and in the territory of municipal facilities:

  • the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade: in Dzerzhinsk — four BRDMs; Krasnoye — two tanks; Ozeryanovka — one Osa anti-aircraft missile system; Artyomovsk — eight Giatsynth-B towed howitzers;
  • the 92nd separate mechanized brigade: in Verkhnetoretskoye — two ATGM complexes; Novobakhmutovka — two APCs-60; Avdeyevka — two APCs-70, one APC-80, one MT-LB and one armoured fighting vehicle; Zheleznoye — one ZU-23 anti-aircraft mount;
  • the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade: in Yasnoborodovka — one IFV; Karlovka — three APCs; Krasnoarmeysk — two BUK anti-aircraft missile systems;
  • the 28th separate mechanized brigade: in Kurakhovo — one Giatsynth-B towed howitzer; Nevelskoye — two BRDMs-2, three IFVs-1, MT-LB;
  • the 128th separate mountain assault brigade: in Kasyanovka — four Osa anti-aircraft missile systems; Bogdanovka — three IFVs-2; Granitnoye — four IFVs;
  • the 36 separate marine infantry brigade: in Urzuf — ten T-64BM tanks; Mariupol — one IFV-2; Vodyanoye — two BRDMs-2.
