On November 13, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a law introducing a land market in the country. DPR People’s Council deputy Elena Shishkina commented on the adoption by the Ukrainian government of an anti-popular bill to remove the moratorium on land sales.

“I would actually call this bill anti-popular. To date, the bill has been adopted in the first reading, but I have no doubt that in the end it will be adopted as a whole. The actions of Zelensky and the Servant of the People presidential party indicate that they came only to sell and give away the resources of Ukraine,” Elena Shishkina commented.

She also noted that earlier Zelensky had repeatedly stated the need to lift the moratorium on land sales to supplement the country’s budget and cited various arguments saying that this step would accelerate the merger of Ukraine with the European civilization.

“In addition, the President of Ukraine and his administration made loud public statements on the need for an all-Ukrainian referendum during which there would be heard the voice of every Ukrainian. However, already on November 13, everyone could see the result of these false statements as this anti-polpular bill was adopted in the first reading,” the deputy said.

She also emphasized that Zelensky purposefully and consistently pursues a criminal policy aimed at the destruction of the state of Ukraine.

“All Zelensky’s promises are false, including the termination of hostilities in Donbass, the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the restoration of peace in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Ukraine once again testifies to its incapacity, inability to reach an agreement, and the fact that, as a state, it refuses to comply with international law,” Elena Shishkina said.
