Unfortunately, Kiev negotiators in the humanitarian group still assume a destructive stance, the DPR Foreign Ministry informs.
Today, Ukraine has once again delayed the exchange of detainees, citing procedural and technical issues during the preparations for the exchange. Although it was the Kiev representatives who assured us that those procedural nuances should have been resolved a few months ago.
We hope that by the next meeting of the Contact Group, as instructed today, all the issues will have been resolved and agreed upon. Also at the meeting, our representatives highlighted the inadmissibility of unilateral measures, which the Ukrainian side is trying to carry out without any notification, when verifying the consent of detainees for their inclusion in the exchange list.
