Today, on December 3, individuals with disabilities attended an event hosted by the Khartsyzsk local Palace of Culture. They presented their works of arts and crafts at a special exhibition in the Palace of Culture, and also attended a festive concert, the press service of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement reports.
The event was attended by Andrei Bedilo, the adviser to the Head of the DRPM’s Central Executive Committee; Olga Bondareva, the Khartsyzsk Council’s deputy head for economic issues; and Alexander Kovtyrin, a deputy of the DPR People’s Council.
Activists of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s local branch were awarded diplomas for their active citizenship and contribution to the development of the social movement.
“On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I want to wish you to always feel free, strong individuals, who, despite life circumstances and difficulties, are always surrounded by reliable and loyal friends,” Andrei Bedilo noted in his welcoming address.
After the concert for minors, a children’s entertaining and gaming program was held with bright and colorful life-size puppet as hosts, various contests, presents, surprises and a table with the sweets.
