The emergency statement from the DPR PMD says that today at 10:45 a.m. to the Ukrainian side there was delivered the body of the SBU Alpha special forces unit’s saboteur, who had been eliminated in the territory of the People’s Republic, in the Starolaspa area, 6.5 km away from the military contact line when attempting a sabotage act.
The December 1 death of a servicemen of the SBU Alpha special forces unit is still high on the public agenda.
Not trusting the official version of the incident, stated by the Joint Forces Operation Command, a group of Ukrainian journalists arrived in the responsibility zone of the 128th brigade to investigate this fact. In this regard, the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters ordered the command of the 128th brigade to completely ban the communication of personnel with journalists and volunteers. However, fearing for a possible leakage of “inconvenient” information, SBU officials tightened control at checkpoints to verify the exported audio and video materials.
Having been repeated addressed by the DPR representatives saying they were ready to transfer the body of the deceased SBU special operations soldier to be buried in a Christian way, the Ukrainian party finally made an official request for the transfer of the body.
