According to updated data, as a result of the attack on Staromikhaylovka by militants of the 28th AFU separate mechanized brigade using 82mm mortars and IFV guns, 9 civilian residential buildings are damaged at 3 and 8 Kotovskogo Street; 43, 44, 45, 46 Shevchenko Street; 8 Kotsyubinskogo Street; 22 Zhukovskogo Street.
Information on victims and the scale of destruction is still being clarified.
It is important to note that during the attack on Staromikhaylovka, an OSCE SMM patrol was 1 km away, which also reported the firing at our territory by the Ukrainian occupiers.
We hope for the impartiality of the international monitors, who will document this ceasefire violation by the Ukrainian side and the damage caused in their report and bring it to the public.
According to the updated data obtained by our intelligence, the attack on the residential areas of Staromikhaylovka by 28th brigade was preceded by an explosion and indiscriminate shooting in positions of the 1st mechanized battalion of this unit.
According to information from our sources, an ammunition depot of the 2nd mechanized company, located in one of the destroyed buildings on Prokofieva Street in Krasnogorovka, was blown up in the positions of the 28th brigade. As a result of the explosion, 1 militant died and 1 injured.
The cause of the depot’s blowing up comes from a sabotage act committed by the nationalists who arrived in the joint forces operation zone in order to destabilize the situation during the meeting between president of Ukraine Zelensky and the leaders of the Normandy format in Paris.
