Today, on December 11, the results of the Support of the Donetsk People’s Republic contest were solemnly summed up and the winners were awarded in Donetsk. According to the correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the contest was held by the Donetsk Republic Public Movement on behalf of Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

Addressing the winners and participants of the contest, the Head of the Republic said:

“I am glad to welcome everyone to the culmination of the Support of the Donetsk People’s Republic contest!

Such a competition is being held in our country for the first time. We can say that it has attracted a large number of participants and we already know the results. 2,860 participants were registered for the contest. I thank them all, because this alone is a bold move – not just to stay on the sidelines, watching TV lying on the coach and talking about how bad things are and how they could be done better. These people have already taken the first step!

This is very important. But, even more importantly, in our Republic there is an opportunity to identify really talented specialists, professionals. We do not have enough of those; we are facing a fairly considerable personnel shortage. And we are not alone with this problem. Even in the country that we love, respect, and towards which we are working – Russia, is also facing understaffing.

But, we know that we have many talented, truly decent people who will get a position at ministries, departments, and our enterprises. This is what we really need now. And once again I thank all the participants, and congratulate the winners! Things will become easier with you. And, I think that it’s only right to continue holding this contest in the future,” Denis Pushilin said.

The Support of the Donetsk People’s Republic is an open contest for purposeful, hardworking and active citizens. The main task of the personnel marathon is to provide most educated, responsible and energetic people with an opportunity to prove themselves. Notably, the finalists of the competition will find employment at state bodies, departments and leading enterprises of the Republic. Some have already begun their careers at a new position. Thus, the Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin reported having signed a Decree on the appointment of contest’s finalist Alexei Ziborov as assistant to the Head of the DPR.

“In a persistent struggle, thanks to your professional qualities, you have proven your right to be here. In these months you managed to prove yourselves, show the result and bear the responsibility for the decision made. I’m sure that with such a team, with such professionals, we will be able to build our Donetsk People’s Republic!” Alexey Muratov, Head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, said.

“At a time when a young, active state is being built before our very eyes, when values are being reassessed, when a lot has to be started from scratch, the Republic especially needs the support of bright, talented, energetic, active, professional, and responsible people; of the people who are able to be responsible for the decisions made, the people who are able to safeguard the interests of their country,” Olga Makeyeva, Deputy Chairperson of the DPR People’s Council, said.

“You are in the Top 100 of the Donetsk People’s Republic! This is a great achievement, and I wish you not to stop there! You have made a good start, but there are still many challenges, many more achievements and victories ahead. Be always faithful to your principles, never give up!” Andrei Kozenko, a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, coordinator of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee, advised the finalists.

Following the results of the contest, there were selected 100 winners, and the work with the rest of the participants who had passed all the tests, will follow in 2020.
