Today, on December 16, School 32 of Donetsk hosted a charity event named “Thank You” as part of the Good Deeds Week project. According to a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, the event was held on the initiative of the Time of the Good charity fund under the patronage of Donetsk mayor Aleksey Kulemzin.
“The Good Deeds Week event has started in Leninsky District of Donetsk since December 9. The staff, students and parents of our school decided to take an active part in it. The funds that we raise today will go to Gusak Institute of Emergency and Restorative Surgery for cancer-stricken children,” school principal Tatyana Khomutova said.
In turn, head of the Time of the Good charity fund Maria Afanasenko added that such events are held on a regular basis and help raise funds for the treatment of children with cancer.
