Mayor of Khartsyzsk Victoria Zhukova addressed Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin with a request to assist in the restoration of elevator facilities in Ilovaysk. This issue has become a serious problem for the citizens. The issue of non-working elevators in the railroad hub hospital’s outpatient department at the Ilovaysk station was particularly acute. Patients had to be carried by hand to the 3rd and 4th floor of the hospital.
Head of State Denis Pushilin supported Victoria Zhukova’s initiative and helped solve the issue of financing to solve this problem.
“Elevators have not been working for more than 15 years in Ilovaysk, which complicated the provision of services to residents of the town. In the Ilovaysk hospital, they had to carry patients literally by hand to the 3rd and 4th floor. It’s very hard. Denis Pushilin assisted in this issue, helped to solve it. After that, some elevators have already been repaired. The work is ongoing at full speed, we will have to fix another part of the elevators in the first quarter of 2020,” Victoria Zhukova said.
She also said that preparations for replacing the elevators with new ones are underway in the Ilovaysk hospital.
