The meeting via videoconference of the working subgroup for humanitarian issues of the Trilateral Contact Group for the Donbass Conflict Settlement has ended. Commissioner for Human Rights in the DPR Daria Morozova announced the negotiations’ outcome.
“We have finally managed to reach an agreement on the swap provided that assurances could be given that the detainees would be amnestied by Ukraine. At the moment, efforts are being made to compile a final list of persons and the swap date.
We intend to continue negotiations and to obtain the release of all unjustly convicted supporters of the Republic at an early date,” the Ombudsperson said.
