DPR People’s Council deputy Maria Pirogova, along with a public figure from the Russian Federation, Alexei Byatkovsky, visited the frontline village of Zaitsevo, where they gave children New Year presents, a correspondent of the DPR official website reports.

“Today we have arrived in Zaitsevo to give local children New Year presents. Every day they have to hear the explosions, and they spent that night as well in the basements, hiding from the shells fired by Ukrainian militants,” Maria Pirogova said.

The deputy also noted that for the children of Zaitsevo there had been installed two New Year trees: one is ordinary, festive, and the other one is made of shells that landed in local residents’ houses and courtyards.

“Apparently, the Ukrainian authorities demonstrate their “love” for the children of Donbass by such a quantity of ammunition,” Maria Pirogova emphasized.

“It is terrifying that there are politicians speculating on the existence of conventional and non-conventional weapons for the execution of children. I want people who negotiate peace or wage war, first of all, following the example of King Solomon, wish themselves to gain wisdom, and then decide what caliber they can use to shoot at children and civilians,” Alexei Byatkovsky commented.
