The Criminal Investigation Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office investigates a criminal case against the military personnel and commander of the 58th AFU separate mechanized infantry brigade D.V. Kaschenko on the acts constituting a crime under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code (terrorist act), the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office reported on December 26.
It has been established that on December 25, 2019, the military personnel of the brigade, by order of their commander D.V. Kaschenko, engaged the village of Mine 6/7, Nikitovsky District of Gorlovka, by using mortars and grenade launchers, as a result of which a man born in 1970 suffered multiple fragmentation wounds. The necessary investigative actions as part of the criminal case are currently ongoing.
