Today, militants from the 28th brigade commanded by Marchenko engaged Staromikhaylovka with IFV guns, having fired 15 rounds. As a result of the enemy attack, 5 houses are damaged at 40, 44, 46, 51 Shevchenko Street, and 10 Sovetskaya Street.

Note that the shelling began immediately after a powerful explosion that occurred at AFU positions in Krasnogorovka. According to our intelligence, the cause was a truck blown up by a land mine, delivering ammunition to the positions.

Thus, we do not rule out that the Ukrainian militants opened fire on our Republic with the aim of provoking retaliatory fire from us and thereby hide from the leadership the emergency involving the loss of equipment and military personnel because of blowing up in their own minefields. According to our sources, two militants died and two were seriously injured. Our units did not respond to the provocation.

Also, at 14:50, Ukrainian militants from the 58th brigade commanded by Kaschenko opened fire on peaceful neighborhoods of the village of Mine 6/7 by using 82mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers.

As a result of the attack, a civilian born in 1970, who was standing by the bus station at that time, was injured in the shoulder and the head.

According to our data, while the occupiers were firing, journalists from the ICTV network captured that on video, they were at that time in the occupiers’ positions.

It is important to note that during the attack, our air defense units downed an unmanned aerial vehicle that was filming the results of the attack, which also suggests the presence of journalists at the AFU’s forefront.

This fact is yet another proof of the unprincipled nature of the Ukrainian journalists and occupiers, who violate the ceasefire, having a greed for prizes, rating and PR, as a result of which innocent residents of Donbass suffer.

We call on representatives of the OSCE SMM to immediately intervene in what is happening and impartially document the cases of war crimes by Ukrainian militants.
