On Friday of December 27, the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Solovyanenko hosted an awarding ceremony for employees of ministries and agencies following the results of the outgoing year 2019. Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin attended the event to award the best of the best, the press service of the DPR Head reports.
“Dear colleagues, friends! Congratulations to you on the upcoming New Year holidays! On the eve of the New Year, we are striving to complete all the initiated activities, summing up the results of the past year, and making plans for the future.
The year 2019 was eventful, we all worked hard. It was marked by the signing of a decree by Russian Federation President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on the issuance of Russian passports to the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
We prioritized the economy, focusing our efforts on entering foreign markets. We managed to demonstrate our capacities at international exhibitions in the Crimea, Kursk, St. Petersburg and Syria. A large-scale investment forum was held in Donetsk. Donbass is gaining industrial momentum, we have a lot of work to do to restore the glory of Donetsk as a business capital, and we will certainly achieve this…
I saw your efforts to make the Republic better. We continue to focus on caring for citizens. This is what we all are working for and what should be our priority.
I want to express my gratitude to you for what you are doing for the development of the Donetsk People’s Republic, everyone in their place and within the limits of their capabilities. With your daily work, you strive to make our state strong and prosperous.
But more needs to be done. And I am really looking forward to this next year.
Dear friends! I wish you sound health, happiness, good spirits and, of course, the long-awaited peace. Happy New Year 2020!” Denis Pushilin said.
The Head of the Republic handed over to the best employees certificates of merit and gratitude for their high professionalism, conscientious work, and a significant personal contribution to the formation and development of the Donetsk People’s Republic. A total of 57 persons were awarded.
