Ukrainian militants engaged localities of the Republic thrice over the past 24 hours, the DPR PMD’s spokesman Rinat Aygistov reported at a briefing in Donetsk on December 29.
On the Donetsk front, militants from the 56th brigade engaged the environs of the airport and the Volvo Center by using automatic grenade launchers, heavy machineguns and small arms.
Information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and civilian casualties is being specified.
