Voda Donbassa Public Utilities Company has been allocated 225 million rubles to pay off its workers’ salaries, Minister of Construction Industry, Housing and Public Utilities Sector Sergey Naumets announced on Monday, December 30.

“In follow-up of the budgeting in December, 225 million Russian rubles have been transferred to Voda Donbassa Public Utilities Company for the repayment of wage arrears for July-November 2019 and the unified contribution for compulsory state social insurance. The major part of this amount, 145 million 194 thousand rubles, was transferred to the employees’ payroll cards, 2 million 747 thousand rubles were paid in cash, according to the statements. The remaining 77 million 58 thousand rubles were transferred to pay the income tax and unified contribution for compulsory state social insurance, in the future those money will go to social insurance benefits for employees of this company (sick-leave, maternity leave, etc.),” Sergey Naumets informed.

The Minister recalled that earlier this month 130 million rubles had already been transferred to this Ukrainian company for the same purpose. The Government of the Donetsk People’s Republic has had to allocate the funds at the expense of the Republic budget to pay the seven-month arrears to 6 thousand employees of Voda Donbassa Company living in the DPR, who have fallen victim to the policy pursued by Kiev, aimed at exterminating the people’s republics.
