The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic did not receive any reports on detention this week, the ombudsperson’s press service informs.

According to up-to-date information, the Ukrainian side holds in custody 240 people as of December 27, including:

— 87 people whose whereabouts in Ukrainian territory have been established and confirmed.

— 153 people, information on whom is missing or is being specified by the Ukrainian side.

This week, the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner did not receive any reports on missing persons.

As of December 27, there are 465 people on the list of missing persons. The Ukrainian side might hold them in custody as well.
