The Human Rights Commissioner’s Office in the Donetsk People’s Republic keeps record of Ukraine’s violations of the rights of Donbass residents, including the right to life, security, personal inviolability and freedom of movement, the ombudsperson’s press service reports.

On December 25, a male man, born in 1970, suffered fragmentation wounds as a result of the artillery attack on the village of Mine 6/7, Gorlovka, launched by Ukrainian armed formations.

On December 26, two soldiers of the Republic aged 32 and 33 suffered wounds of varying severity as a result of the attack on the outskirts of Gorlovka.

Between December 20 and 26, 3 people were injured as a result of the armed aggression of Ukraine in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, including a male civilian and two soldiers of the Republic.

Between January 1 and December 26, 2019, 223 people suffered traumas and injuries of varying severity as a result of the armed aggression of Ukraine in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, of whom 149 were military personnel of the Republic, 24 female civilians, 45 male civilians and 5 minors.

Between December 20 and 26, fortunately, there were no casualties in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Between January 1 and December 26, 2019, 166 people were killed by the armed aggression of Ukraine in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, of whom 157 were military personnel of the Republic, six female civilians and three male civilians.

We will clarify that since the outbreak of the armed conflict in the Donetsk People’s Republic, 4,895 people have died, including 81 children.
