Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian militants engaged the territory of populated localities of the Republic four times, the DPR PMD’s spokesman Dmitry Astrakhan reported at a briefing in Donetsk on January 9.
- “On the Gorlovka front, militants from the 59th brigade engaged Dolomitnoye and the village of Gagarin Mine by using grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms.
- On the Donetsk front, the 56th brigade attacked the environs of the Donetsk airport with anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
- On the Mariupol front, the forces of the 10th mountain assault brigade attacked Sakhanka with anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
